  • Why Visit? Climb 177 steps for panoramic views of Pensacola Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. (visit info here)
  • Interesting Fact: Built in 1859, this lighthouse played a key role during the Civil War.
  • Good to know: Since it is on the Navy Base you must enter the base with a tour and have proper i.d.
  • Fun Fact: The Lighthouse is reportedly “haunted” and you can book a night ghost hunt there! Also, you can book a Blue Angels practice watch.

We did the “ghost hunt” night tour there and it was fun and spooky to explore the lighthouse at night with the equipment.
